tdiedwards
from what i gather Muay Thai and BJJ would give you a very solid MMA training. But maybe you should consider a chinese martial art seeing as you live near Noyjing ....just kiddingIs there really nothing close to you? Because anthing will be useful to you. You're starting very young which means if you had o study a style not usually associated with MMA you might have time to become awsome at it and become a distinctive and exciting MMA fighter...RA! good luck! ShotokanKid
You're pretty tall for 13. If there is no one who can train you, start online. A bunch of the Gracie BJJ instructional DVDs can be viewed online (with google video or something similar). Same goes for striking techniques; there's a lot of stuff on google video on muay thai and boxing. "What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."
