bat in a birdless village Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 You should do it, just for the coolness of having school shirts to sell or give away, but you can beat $12 if you shop around. I am a big fan of tshirts in the summer as the uniform top. There is a local shop here that charges $3 per shirt with a minimum of 12 (and a setup fee of about $20 if you use your own logo and not clipart). That deal is for a one color logo on the front of the shirt. Tell me and I will list their website so you can call or email them and see if they will mail you the shirts. It may be worth it.Regardless, shop around. You can beat that.Bat Being a shodan is about learning what you DON'T know about what you know.
bushido_man96 Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 I think this is a good idea. I would love to buy shirts from my school, and it is kind of a nice promotional tool. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
aefibird Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 We have t-shirts for my TKD school. There's colkoured ones that are for general wear and white ones that can replace the dobok top. We also have over-dobok tracksuits with the club logo on the back of the jacket. SBN has also just done baseball caps too, which are popular with the kids.At karate we have general wear t-shirts, as well as sweatsirts. We're looking to get tracksuit tops/jackets done too, but need to work out the cost. "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." RichardHangHong Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 For our school we have t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts and overgi jackets. Unfortunately we can't get jackets in the kids sizes that are the same as the adults. Can get fleece jackets though but who'd want to where that over their gi? yuk! jaymac Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 There is nothing wrong with making a small profit from having T-shirts. You will lose money in the long run if you do not charge over cost just a little. If you are truly interested, ask the students what they would think about sporting dojo t-shirts. I think you will get alot of enthusiasm from them and it is a fun way for them to promote the school and the art. A great martial artist is one who is humble and respectful of others.
