An attempt at drawing

For the last few days I have been working on my drawing skills and I wanted to share my progress. Here are 2 of the pictures I have made…neither is too special, but then again I have really never taken the time to try and draw. Critique is welcome, but if you don’t like them please tell me why so I can fix them up and make them better.

This one is just random stuff, not sure what I was going for, but I like coloring

This is some form of warrior.

I like the first one. It feels uninhibited like a graphical stream of consciousness. The warrior is neat because he looks like he is experienced, but not yet jaded or scarred. the picture looks like an "off to war" portrait-- pre-battle confidence and concerns mingle on his face.

Keep having fun with your art!~

I like the color in the first one. I am sure that there is some message or deeper meaning to the second but I never can pick up on the deeper meanings behind pictures. They are both quite good though

I think it's wonderful that you are expressing yourself in your art. Forget whether it's good or not in the eyes of others and instead work on whether you like it first---while continuing to learn from other artists and their styles.
