You have to be true to yourself first. Whether the comments are meant to be disrespectful or not they are not appropriate. There are other schools and other instructors. Besides, today it is homosexuals and blacks that are being disrespected by the instructor and in time it may be other groups...including whatever group that you may be in.

I am sure that you will find another school and instructor. The best of luck to you in your travels of the path

Good luck to you, and I hope that you let him know why you will no longer be training at his school. There are other great instructors out there. Think of it not as a loss or a step back. You have great morals. You should be commended.
