IcemanSK
I am pretty sure I am going to find a new school...That sounds like the best course of action. I wish you the best in your search for a school that encourage you to see people as people. Being a good fighter is One thing. Being a good person is Everything. patusai
You have to be true to yourself first. Whether the comments are meant to be disrespectful or not they are not appropriate. There are other schools and other instructors. Besides, today it is homosexuals and blacks that are being disrespected by the instructor and in time it may be other groups...including whatever group that you may be in.I am sure that you will find another school and instructor. The best of luck to you in your travels of the path "Don't tell me the sky's the limit because I have seen footprints on the moon!" -- Paul Brandt
SatyagrahaKF
Very inspiring message Patsuai, thank you. I have decided that whether it is his bad sense of humor or not, I am going to find a new instructor. Thank you all for your suggestions. Seek not and you will find. -Lao Tsu

jaymac
Good luck to you, and I hope that you let him know why you will no longer be training at his school. There are other great instructors out there. Think of it not as a loss or a step back. You have great morals. You should be commended. A great martial artist is one who is humble and respectful of others.
