hiya,

if you take kung fu, are there any girls in your classes? I'm a girl, and I've never heard or seen any girl doing kung fu... whats up with this?

It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye.

wing chun was developed by a woman, and when Bruce Lee started training in wing chun he was made fun of because it was a 'woman's art'.. That paradigm seems to have changed though..

It takes sacrifice to be the best.

There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.

I don't know all the facts about win chun, but I've heard that the style was originally started by a woman and it was meant to be taught as a form of self-defense for women hundreds of years ago. It might be worth researching.

White Crane Kung-Fu is also said to be founded by a woman, Fang Qiniang. She is said to have gained considerable fame after defeating hard style monk fist boxer Zeng Cishu. (Who subsequently became her disciple.)

There are plenty of women in my karate class, including one of the instructors.
