Smitty Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 But I don't know where to start. I only know of like Tai Chi, and I don't know if that'd work best for me. I don't really know what each art has to offer. Further more, there are no instructors around here, so I'll need to learn from a video, or travel out of the area, or something. Can anyone recommend me an art?

There is no place to get feedback and someone saying "That's not right", or "Try it this way".Figure out how far you are willing to travel, make a list of the arts available inside that range, and go visit the schools and take classes to see which one you like the most.Aodhan There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player

You'll never get it correctly, rather you'll simply be performing a slow dance move.Find an instructor. We're everywhere, in every city. May not be the style you desire most, but you will find someone who can teach you.Respectfully,Sohan "If I cannot become one of extraordinary accomplishment, I will not walk the earth."
