Sohan
She's very lucky he wasn't carrying a gun. But good for her, anyway.Respectfully,Sohan "If I cannot become one of extraordinary accomplishment, I will not walk the earth." aefibird
Good for her! Glad she was able to use her training. As for him having a gun... well, if he'd had a gun it wouldn't have made a lot of difference if she'd been 14 or 40. Guns can kill people of all shapes and sizes, male and female. If someone is determined to shoot another person then even the best MA training in the world wouldn't necessarily overcome it. Brandon Fisher
Good for her. She felt threatened and she so she fought. I guess if I was in her shoes I would rather fight adn try to live then worry about what he would do if he got me. Gun or no gun in a life or death situation I say fight. GOM
Yeah good on her. Did you notice they called it "Karate", even though there was a Korean flag on the wall? And what was with the blue gi and yellow stars?I thought her technique was awful, but, credit where credit is due, she did defend herself against a grown man. lordtariel
If he had a gun it could have turned ugly whether or not she had attacked him. There's no place like 127.0.0.
Blackbeltblonde
Not many people will grab you from behind if they have a gun... They are usually aware of the upperhand of being able to maintain distance. cathal
There was a similar story recently about a brown-belt 16 year old girl. A man entered her bedroom through her window and grabbed her. She wrestled him down to the ground as her parents called police. Turns out he was a rapist and was intent on taking her from her home. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
