In the South, we fry just about anything that doesn't move. I'm really amazed at the culinarily challenged frymasters that I discover in the small corners of Georgia. I have eaten fried pickles, ice cream, fried meats of all sorts, and even fried french fries (they fry the potatoes, then cover them in batter and fry them again!).Maybe I'll just stick to the baked beans and cole slaw.
