Well... it depends on the size of the tournament. Our "small" (200 competitors) tourneys are held in a high school gym. Often at the lower belts and younger ages, there are unisex divisions. But the national and international tourneys are either held in hotels or convention centers. I've got one in Pittsburgh next week, that's at a convention center and the World Tourney in Panama will be in a hotel.

The deadline on this one is fast approaching ... like tomorrow!

A little more than 6 hrs. away from me .... but anyone interested in say, Canada or upper state NY area... check this open tournament out .... The Battle of Upstate New York is an annual Open Tournament. Here any style of martial arts may enter to compete. They (ITU) have special guests attending for pictures and autographs: Cynthia Rothrock, Richard Norton, Don 'The Dragon' Wilson, GrandMaster Pan Qing Fu, Sifu Vincent Lyn, GrandMaster George Dillman.

Carradine was supposed to be there but will not be appearing due to being in China to make a new movie.
