shadowboxer
anyone condition their shins differently than the mind numbing, endless repetitive kicking of the bag?
Phantasmatic
I do know someone who hits his shins on the side of a desk. He's rather mad though!!! "Which one is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?" - Obi Wan Kenobi
Prodigy-Child
it doesnt come easy.....you are gonna have to do it BY KICKING THE BAG you can also get this stuff that you spray on your shins and feet to numb them out You can boo me if you want, You know I'm right!-Chris Rock
shadowboxer
i spent 2 years lightly hammering on my shins with drumsticks, and as the months grew on i increased and increased until i was beating on them pretty hard. pain tolerance has gone waaaaaaay up too, either that or i killed some nerves. i wouldn't reccommend this for everybody. Blammo
Just kick the bag! Rolling pins, kicking trees (My friend and I saw some idiots doing that. We just laughed), bottles....it's all rushing it. You'll pay later on for messing with the things that I listed above. They don't have the bags and pads for nothing.

YODA
He banged his shin too hard and got a big egg on it - it turned nasty & he was dead 6 months later - Shin Cancer. You'd be horrified if you knew how many young Thai's over there die this way - they just sweep it under the carpet. shadowboxer
i'm sorry about your friend too, it's very unfortunate. you guys are acting like i said i let a truck drive over my shins daily. i said lightly, with pine drumsticks, over the course of two years, and it usually followed a bag workout. i don't run around kicking trees or breaking vodka bottles on my legs guys.
