younwhadoug
our system had a tournement yesterday. red and brown belts compete together and i was the only red belt in there. i was a little worried at first, specially when my wife looked over and seen i was the only one in a white uniform (brown belt and above wear black) and she gave me this "i'm sorry" look. i won second place in sparring and third in forms. i feel great. we have another tournement on may 6th and state championships in october. until yesterdays tournement i had never went for a head kick on anyone just cause i am ussually the shortest person in there, which i was agian, but i figured what the heck i would try it. i ended up landing a few very accurate shots. comments welcome, i just started this thread to vent and show how much fun our system has at the tournements. i didn't really make a point so say what you want. by tomarrow the tournement pics should be up at https://www.younwha.com be polite, be patient, be alert, be brave, do your best, respect yourself and others.
