Does anybody know of any kenpoist that fight in MMA or Kickboxing.

I come to you with only "Karate" - empty hands. I have no weapons; but should I be forced to defend myself, my principles or my honor; should it be a matter of life or death, or right or wrong; then here are my weapons - "Karate" - my empty hands.

Again, I say...I don't see it. Where's the Kenpo?

Well I don't think that any MMA event is set up for any particular style. The rules just won't allow it, so of course, you won't see any of the eye gouges, groin rips, etc that can be reminiscent of any Kenpo art. Just my opinion ;)

I with you on that.

Well, I was responding to the original poster's question of:

The facts are that Chuck's base is Hawaiin Kempo and he fights MMA.

I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.

Supposedly Chuck Liddell did study Kempo because he has it tatooed on his arm, but I think that although I at times enjoy watching it on Spike tv, I still have issues about it being called Martial Arts. It is a Heinz 57 fighting style. Its sole purpose is to teach others to beat the crap out of each other in a ring. There is nothing traditional about it and that is ok for the person who is interested in that, but I am tired of reading about it in my karate magazines.

A great martial artist is one who is humble and respectful of others.
