I am not 100% for sure, but I believe that Shaolin has a scorpion style. If all else fails you can always google it :karate:

How effective is a scorpion kick?

-to hit with that, you have to be a lot closer than a regular kick, and if you're in that close, why not use the knee?

-if you get in that close, you can get hit and/or taken down before you even execute it

That being said, that is an awesome looking kick which takes more flexibility than I would ever have. It looks like only a skilled, flexible person can do that.
