Jeet Kune Do
I have a question, does practicing with Nunchaku affect you mentally, because ever since I had them (3 weeks ago) I practiced with them everyday and now I do Very well at school and I am more active and have quicker reactions and train harder. A drop of sweat spent in practice is a drop of blood saved in a battle.A person who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the man doing it. patusai
As for improving your mental ability I don't know. Maybe. I do know if you hit yourself in the head with them enough or hard enough it will adversely effect your mental ability "Don't tell me the sky's the limit because I have seen footprints on the moon!" -- Paul Brandt
granmasterchen
yep, either you hit yourself enough (lightly) that you learn to stop doing that move incorrectly or you hit yourself hard enough and lose the memory, and continue the path over and over and over....continually knocking yourself silly and getting dumber.... That which does not destroy me will only make me stronger

My advice to everyone when your done practicing you Kata I suggest you drop the Nunchaku.

I think this is more to do with a advancement in your training, the weapon may have sparked that interest and the training became more rewarding. lordtariel
Using a weapon like that requires a lot of discipline. That discipline translates into all parts of your life, not just martial skill. There's no place like 127.0.0.
