Menjo Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 ?LOL. Its difficult to say however I'll make an attempt. Some people will rely on one technique and forget about the various benefits of practicing other techniques just as hard. Also, there is always someone better...best to have an alternative.I also think that some people may think, "If I become a master at this technique I'll be invincible" right off the bat without any true knowledge of strategy. Ex, In many styles, to develop and preform a strong and effective punch, you need cooperative footwork. I hope thats enough. "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn
UseoForce Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 No, I'm not saying that at all. I was more referring to, say, a boxer: Basically 4 punches, but they are still great fighters. BJJ kinda has the same thing going for it. If it works, use it!If not, throw it out!
