hey, the staff is a great place to start. skill with the staff will make any other weapons much easier to learn later.

I own a pair of Joe Hess chucks, and a pair of wooden string chucks. I also own an Easton bat, two knives, one ax, one machete (my fav), and the weapon that has gotten me in the most trouble- my mouth.

Bo, Jo and Combat Staff

recently aquired some black nunchaku with metal chain, and i've been spinning staff for ages.

 

you dont even need the studs on the 'chucks... accidently hit myself in the temple earlier (probably a perfect knockout shot to anyone else if it had more power ) while quickly changing positions... put me down on one knee for bout 10 mins
