bjjbarbie
at the pan pacs in 2000(which is prob the largest bjj tournment in aus) i saw the most cheap moves by this judo guy.....as u mioght know u get 2 points for a takedown,..well this guy has a real strentgh in throwing takedowns.....and what he was doing was getting into a clench....takeing the guy down ...and then standing up again...and continuing this process......of whereby he won on points!!! yeah i see the tacktics invloved, and sure there was no rule against it...but dont u reckon that is preety dodgy!!!!????!!!! what do u think? lindz! boo! Phantasmatic
Man, that is really really cheap!! How strong was the other guy, because it would be really hard to do that to an experienced BJJ or Judo practitioner. YODA
Kinda like when JJ Machado (BJJ Black Belt) entered a state Judo championships and won every fight by screwing up the takedown, jumping to guard then armbaring the opponent YODA2nd Degree Black Belt : Doce Pares Eskrima https://www.docepares.co.ukQualified Instructor : JKD Concepts https://www.jkdc.co.ukQualified Fitness Instructor (Weights, CV, Circuit, Kinesiology)
Prodigy-Child
that might just be the way he wants to fight... or it could be strictly out of habit. judo ka are used to being stopped after making a full ippon throw and ending the match right there You can boo me if you want, You know I'm right!-Chris Rock
tigerstyle18
Reasons similar to that is why I almost never compete. The one who wins isn't always the best fighter. I've lost matches on technicalities such as points. Oh yeah, and for the record, BJJ dominates Judo! Hahaha, sorry Judo people When two tigers fight, one dies and the other is mortally wounded. It takes sacrifice to be the best. There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.
tigerstyle18
okay, now I'm confused. What is an "uber"??? Sorry, I'm just being your typical ignorant American I guess. Although there's probably alot of southern California slang that you English and Aussie people aren't used to hearing. Eh. Whatever. late...
