SnowRidin
Currently I am looking to join some type of MA, but im not too sure what would be best for me, I've done a little research but I'm still unsure. What I'm looking for is something extremely competitive, with prize tournaments and such, and maybe even beyond that (olympics??). I was in TKD as a kid, but I had a horrible experience with my instructor where I ended up with a leg being wrapped and on crutches for weeks. Nothing against TKD and I would still be up for trying it if thats what would be best for me. In my immidiate area its mostly karate/tkd, but im willing to drive if theres something better for me. Thanks ahead of time.

Bushido58266
i was lucky and found a studio that taught a good mix of martial arts, tang soo do (standing fighting) Judo (submission fighting) jujutsu (japanese grappling) and bojutsu (weapon combat, its a 6 foot stick)id say go to all the studios around u and talk to the senseis, tell them what u want and ask them if their studio is right for u. maybe we could help u more if u tell us exactly what u want? for example do u want to learn ground fighting? mixed martial arts? do u want full contact or held back fighting? SnowRidin
I'm about 6'2, 190, 10% body fat if that matters. I have really long arms/legs :/, and I'd prefer full contact
