Side Kicks are always risky...

People will see you wind up and move out of the way even if you are super fast like me. TKD's weakness is close range combat (Although it isnt mine because im the TKD practicioner that dosen't keep my hands down or dorment) A fast basic snap kick or a low to high round house is good. Then you can do all sorts of WWF wrestling moves bahaha.

Do unto others, as they done to you.

I have similiar stories to yours, too many times. Guys like that think that becuase of there size thzt they "better" then anyone else. Sure you could have kneed in the groin even beat the snot out of him. But it would have got you no where.

Here in Colo. all too often both kids who are fighting get suspended. Even the ones who just defended them themselves from an attacker!

The best thing to do for now is simply avoid him. Really really avoid him. If it comes down to a fight make sure it's not at school, so you're not going to get in trouble with the school.

hey Jack, man we are similar,

me being the same age, and who get into alot of fights in school nows what your talkin about,

i used to have the same messin about sparring with mates, and some wiseguy, as told b4, who was alledgley a world champ in tkd challenged me to a fight and started messin about, in the end i won and earned the respect and all and just made the guy shut up,

i know you may feel this is wrong but if they guy is looking for a fight, then give him one, you should be able to take him on if you are expereinced enough in martial arts, dont provoke the situations, but just give him a warning, and if he still carries on , smack him ,

follow the rules of the playground bro

I think the guy is just jelous that you do MA and he doesn't, and he wants to try and prove himself. Maybe you can offer him to do MA with you if he's still kind of your friend.

Well gee, it sounds like there's a lot of fights where some of you live.. To the people that get into fights, what grade are you in? Because I have never seen a real fight anywhere around the school, but maybe it's because I'm still in the 7th grade?

It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye.

Hey Jack,

how old are you two. About how much does he weigh and how much do you weigh?

I'm curious on the size. Also I'm American so if you could tell me in pounds it would help.

Hey, I'm about 9 stone and I'm guessing hes about a little bit heavier, he's shorter, but really muscled. We're also both 15.

I doubt a conflict will happen, but if it does, I'm not going to go easy on him.

One year of going to TKD once a week is not good enough. I've been training like a donkey at home though, so I hope it pays off. (If a fight occurs)

Let you know how it goes when I get back from school. Tara!

It sounds like if there is a fight he is gonna bumb rush you with everything he's got. I would recommend sparring with out kicks so you get more comfortable if he gets in real close.

Also I have no idea about stones as a means of measurement.

sorry, hope what I said helps.

If a fight does occur. Be like a tiger, man. Come at him aggressively and don't let up til he's down.

Godd Luck!

Sorry - 14 pounds to the stone.

The day was pretty uneventful, and now there's the weekend where we will have no contact, so I'm sure this will have blown over by next week.
