I was just wondering if there is an Adidas Karate suit which has the stripes down the sides available anywhere, if so where can I get one?

You're better of with just a plain white gi. You don't have to look pretty.

Perhaps it’s required of them to have one in their dojo, in any case really its irrelevant as to why and such...

KK,

Ummmm, I might try using google to find a trustworthy online site that would sell a gi. That way, if you really want what you're asking you can possibly send an email to the owner and get a costum one(expensive though).

So conclusively I would suggest a online source.

Why does he need one?.....

Why do you wear a black belt if you are a black belt? Why wear a gi at all? It's not required to know karate.... It's not required to be in a fight.... I doubt if the earliest masters cared if you wore a gi or had a belt.

That being said, go for it and try karatedepot.com.

all the best,

I have one of the heavyweight Adidas. It's not my favorite and seems overpriced for the overall "fit and finish" of the clothing. I will not be buying another when this one wears out.

I wouldn't be seen dead in an Adidas gi - until shortly after turning up at my dojo wearing one, that is ;)

No disrespect meant, I just know my sensei would beat the hell out of me!

I'd maybe try one of the WKF approved Adidas uniforms, but it will be years before I need a new uniform.

You can get one on the website https://www.seka-sports.com although, I am in agreement with everyone else, a plain white gi is the best.
