Jet Li.

Hollywood Famous:

Mine is a combination of Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris.

Followed by Jeff Speakman, then Brandon Lee.

Then at one point it was Van Damme and Seagal.

Then Sammo, Jet Li and Jackie Chan, for their contributions as well.

I'd have to say, I favor Matt Mullins as an inspirational figure. However I read the book 5 Rings by Miamoto Musashi and I learned quite a bit. I like how his views from 300 years ago can still apply in todays practice of the martial arts.

Ok I do like famous MA'ist. Like Jackie Chan, cause he does his own stunts and he is funny. Jet Li, cause he fights good. Chuck Norris for his talent in MA (not his acting). Superfoot Bill Wallis (sp?) cause of his ... well, super foot. He kicks but in sparring. C.S. Kim (Tang Soo Do) for his technique ... among others.

But my fav Ma'ist are NOT famous (as I mentioned before). Sensei Mike, Heidi, Mr B, and a few others.
