But one thing of nature does. Lightning *shivers*. I don't fear snakes, but I will hide under the bed if I see lightning. Well, I'm not that bad now, but I WILL NOT go outside or sit near a window during a storm. Reason is, I almost got struck by lightning INSIDE a house. I almost got struck as a kid outside also.

Wow - I'm the complete opposite  I go outside during storms to watch the lightning... for some reason, I am completely fascinated by storms. :) although I do remember standing on the porch of our house once, and seeing lightning hit a street light less than 50 yards away... I think I went back in the house for the rest of that storm ;)

My fears - heights!! I don't know why - but I have always had this fear of heights.... although I can somewhat control it, if the experience is really worth it (Going up the Eiffel Tower was cool) - so at least that's better than nothing.

Wow! My mom is like you. She loves storms. But she was in the room when I almost got struck, but it didn't change her. I think the thunder is pretty cool though. I don't wanna see the lightning, but I like thunder (go figure LOL).

I never really had a problem with heights. As a friend called me (after an outting at Six Flags), the coaster queen! The taller and the faster, the better :D

Well, I grew up in the backwoods of WV, so I have a healthy respect for creepy crawlies and copperheads alike, but I definately don't fear them. I've jumped out of an airplane and been yelled at by Chinese army miles away from civilization (I didn't do anything but someone I was with was being a jerk). I work with semi-hazardous materials and that is cool....

But I totally almost had a panic attack once when I had to drive an Impala!!! Oh my goodness!!! It's like - I'm driving in the middle of the road and the cars to my right and left are just sooo close!!! What if I sneeze!!! (I'm used to Cavalier/Civic types) Then I went through a tunnel...Then I took a break. :)

Also, I have the normal fear of loosing my Mr. ....but that Impala! ~Shudder~

Jeet kun do, those pictures were awful. I would have had a heart attack. God spiders are awful. I am actually going to get a couple of bat houses for my yard in hopes that they will eat the spiders.

I fear illness causing the inability to experience the love of those around me.

I fear never viewing a sunset from my balcony while sipping a raspberry lemonade again.

I fear that I may never enjoy a coffee stout from Five Seasons Brewery again because they will change their menu for the umpteenth time.

I fear that despite my best efforts I will never kick as well as Bruce Lee or Superfoot Wallace.

I fear that the Atlanta Braves will NEVER see another World Series soon.

I fear that my waiters this evening were just like the clowns in "Waiting" the movie.

I fear that my computer hates me. The last one did.

I fear that I haven't told my son I love him enough. Okay, I don't fear that anymore.

I fear drivers who don't care enough about themselves, much less anyone else, to keep from getting behind the wheel when they've had one too many.

I fear that there's beautiful music or art out there that I won't experience in my lifetime, but it's easily within my grasp if I know where to look.

I fear that I spend too much time in this forum.

Respectfully,

Sohan
