Jack Posted April 7, 2002 Posted April 7, 2002 Norwich here. If your idea was a meet-up, then as much as I'd like to my parents would forbid it. They're really quite anti-net, and don't like the idea of me meeting anybody off the net. YODA Posted April 7, 2002 Author Posted April 7, 2002 Yep - Jack, that's what I had in mind. If you had the cash to travel I'm pretty sure I could square things with your folks. This wouldn't be some random meet with a bunch of anonymous strangers - it would be a verifiable event with known people at a known venue - and your folks would be more than welcome to come along. In fact - they can easily find out who I am - my phone no is in every issue of Martial Arts Illustrated Magazine What I was thinking of was a martial arts seminar day where those of us at Instructor level could do a few hours each of our respective arts - we could hire a central location and maybe even make few quid for charity while we're at it.
