mastertae Posted April 7, 2002 Posted April 7, 2002 I thought it was interesting that Jet Li used one of the scenes from the Chinese Connection in his movie Kiss of the Dragon. Is it not easier to strike a mountain than it is to strike a fly!
Jiggy9 Posted April 7, 2002 Posted April 7, 2002 I really liked that movie.. Shotokan Karate Black Belt ==Defend the path of Truth==
spinninggumby Posted April 7, 2002 Posted April 7, 2002 KOD is the best Hollywood Jet Li movie IMHO, which doesn't say much since he only had like three others (The One, Romeo Must Die and Lethal Weapon 4 'Conviction is a luxury for those on the sidelines'William Parcher, 'A BEAUTIFUL MIND'
Ninja Joe Posted April 25, 2002 Posted April 25, 2002 I thought it was interesting how he used acupuncture against his enemies and to help his friends. P.S. What seen was also in The Chinese Connection.
Phantasmatic Posted April 26, 2002 Posted April 26, 2002 I like Romeo must die better than KOD. I think that Jet Li was too serious in KOD. I like the more outgoing Jet Li in The Legend and Romeo Must Die. "Which one is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?" - Obi Wan Kenobi
Blade13 Posted May 12, 2002 Posted May 12, 2002 KOD was a really good movie, but I prefer "The One". By watching it, I became a lot smarter..... ok, I came home and did a ton of research to figure out if it was possible. lol I know a ton about Stephen Hawking's theories now though! And I think I discovered the secret to time travel while in my algebra class....
Hapkido-Cougar Posted May 26, 2002 Posted May 26, 2002 You'll see some impossibility stuffs in that movie, its just way too impossible. I think Jet li's flying stuffs.. thats what i call Impossible! But i liked that movie just a little! Cougar KENPO Green belt master
BlueDragon1981 Posted July 5, 2002 Posted July 5, 2002 Jet Li is just awesome even in the cheesy movies. I liked KOD though.
Don Gwinn Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 Please tell us what scene was shared with Chinese Connection! I have The Chinese Connection here on DVD, but not KOD. I'm getting close to renting it again just because this is bugging me. ____________________________________* Ignorant Taekwondo beginner.http://www.thefiringline.com
