shureido sizing

I'm planing on getting a new gi, looking into shureido and im confused on the sizeing im 6 feet tall and my curent gi I wear is ronin in size 4. looked on the shureido usa website and going by the measuring table on the website i would get a size 4 1/2. My question is this does anybody have any expeariance with shureido, I heard that there gi's are larger than normal should i then get a 3 1/2 gi? And would that be around the same size as a ronin size 4. Any info would be apretiated

Your best bet is to go to a supplier that carries Shureido. I bought a size 5 Shureido, and its plenty big. I normally wear a size 5 in the Ronin middleweight, and in fact had recently bought a new one, only to find that it seemed larger in size than the original Ronin 5 I bought some years ago. Perhaps in time it just kept shrinking through all the washings. But I prefer a larger gi to one that fits perfect, or has the potential to run small after washings.
