Kajukenbopr
Are animal Forms, like in Kung Fu, present in some Karate styles(other than Kenpo) where you can actually see the animal forms in their movements instead of just using some hand forms for some hits or blocks? <> Be humble, train hard, fight dirty
Zaine
Shorin Ryu has White Crane in it. Martial arts training is 30% classroom training, 70% solo training.https://www.instagram.com/nordic_karate/
Menjo
Shotokan's symbol is the tiger, if you think about it certain moves can resemble that of a tiger. "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn

stoneheart
The hakutsuru kata practiced in some Shorin-ryu and Goju-ryu schools are strongly related to white crane.
isshinryuka
The Okinawan breathing introduced in Seisan kata in Isshinryu is traced to the hissing of cranes noted in White Krane Kung Fu.
johnnymac
There are a lot of kata out there that are from animal forms.Hakutsuru is a kata of a white craneHeiku is black tigerPaiku is white tigerPachu is a dragon (but was originally a white crane system kata)Hakucho is white swanand there are a few others. A common mistake though is Anan. Anan is "suposedly" the name of the monk who taught the Ryuei kata's in Taiwan to Nakaima.
