We actually stored them in the sauna but it wasn't in constant use either...

:D We'll just send our boards to you in Phoenix during the summer, Aodhan! Hmmmm... never thought about the sauna Niel0092. Too bad we couldn't use a faster process like a microwave! And no, I haven't tried that yet...

Why bake em or put em in a sauna? I've gone to outdoor lumber yards in winter in Chicago (yes, in 10 feet of snow :D ) & gotten boards. I've even broken them when they're still cold. :lol:

Just buy em & break em, y'all.

I purchase my boards online. They cut them to whatever size you want and they are fairly inexpensive. Saves the time, hassle, and 70 mile round trip!

Breaking boards are good to a degree. Do what is safe, and wise. Learn from others.

However, remember the old saying, 'boards do not hit back...'
