So here is the question....

No uniforms, train anything you can get your hands on, focus on effectiveness and efficiency.

No training under a certified JKD instructor, no base in Jun Fan.

Prior martial arts training in several arts.

Can this person rightfully call himself a JKD concepts instructor>

Nope.

He can call himself a JKD Concepts Instructor - just as I could call myself a TKD Instructor, or anything alse I wished. It wouldn't be "rightfull" though.

It may be a great system / method he's teaching - there are many about - but without lineage to Guro Inosanto it's not JKD Concepts.

Reason I ask is that someone is trying to get me to go and train with a person in a different province. A person who is certified under Paul Vunak.

The individual wants to go take these classes and start teaching JKD. More specifically in my school at times when I am not teaching my classes.

While I have no problem with letting him teach, or going to a seminar. I do have a problem with misrepresenting one's self.
