Resentment abot someone becoming a black belt

Ok last month i was promoted while in japan to shodan but when i got back there were people who resented me because i got to BB before themi mean i dont rub it in ppls faces at all i wanna know what ppl suggestions are to deal with this problem

Anbu Alex,

You have no control over how other people feel about you abtaining the rank of Black Belt. Keep traininig hard, let that be your response. I remember what my Sensei told me when I got my BB, he said "The man of Tao when getting his Black Belt, carefully put it in his bag and walked home. He did not stop to speak to anyone."

It does not matter what anyone feels, it matters how you react.

Ignore it. Everyone advances at there own pace its not your fault they havent earned it.

If you continue to to train hard you will show them that you have earned it. If they do not eventually respect your abilities, then their respect is incosequential anyway.

What im finding amazing is that all the black belts are like working hard to get me up to speed on everything and techs
