tangsoodo
I take TSD which is kind of like TKD, my favorite move for show is a windmill kick (jump spinning outside to inside kick) do they have those in TKD? and for effectiveness my favorite is an axe kick Tang Soo! Morris Ageen
I gotta say side-kick, its nice when you can do it high and hold it, taking your time recoiling it. that or the spinning kick. lol i tried doing at school(note:i can do it perfectly) just for show, the floor was slippery, i fall, badly. didn't hurt, just embrassing, never doing that again. writerlady04
Me, I like the basics: My fav techinques are the instant side kicks and for the hands- I will say the knifehand , and for blocks I would say double outer forearm blocks in a back stance. Aodhan
I took TSD too. Is the windmill kick the "wheel kick?" I never heard of it. Just curious. What we (ATA) call the wheel kick is exactly like a spin hook kick except your leg never bends. Hip high and level all the way through the kick, aiming to hit with the heel.Windmill sounds like what we call a butterfly, or a jump spin outer crescent.Aodhan There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player
