Little Bug Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 I've only just started and really don't know the main differences between the styles. I need a summary! We do Wado Ryu, mixed with some Kickboxing. Plus some general self defence. How to handle dangerous situations in the pub etc I chose my club because I liked the people. Plus the training and classes suit my personality.I tried to read a history on Wado Ryu and whilst it was all very interesting am still bemused when people talk about other styles.Anyone help me out?
b3n Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 This is a good site that very briefly outlines many popular styles of MA:http://www.martial-arts-info.com/.Another good site is https://www.wikpedia.com - search for the desired style and it will explain it more in depth. karatekid1975 Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 There's also https://www.martialinfo.com . If you scroll down a bit, on the left you will find "styles" and there's links and articles for each one. Laurie F
