Sensei Rick
step, double step, back step, front step, double step back, switch, back switch, step back (do not confuse with back step) and then front leg off step and rear leg off step. What steps do you use? Oh I can explain these if ya need. They are pretty standard in TKD schools. If you don't know them, then you TKD school is behind the rest. place clever martial arts phrase here

ElbowTKO
yeah, that should have been sarcasticit seems all TKD does is go back and fourth with kicks untill one is able to hit another, lol Aikido have names for techniques like "heaven and earth."which represents the creation of the universe along with a philosophical meaning.Muay Thai have names for techniques like "closing the lamp", which means "punch him in the eye." Sensei Rick
the purpose of footwork can't be overlooked, despite how you may feel about TKD. i have a black belt in TKD, but I have another in a japanese system, and i choose to teach that because i love the kata. Footwork is so important no matter what the style. It's used so that you can land in a fighting stance after an attack. The faster you return to fighting stance, the faster you can deliver another technique. Call me if ya need another lesson. place clever martial arts phrase here
