Vince Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 Here are some Iasonrue Kata clips that are preaty good and this site hase other art forms as well. Take a look.http://www.vsocial.com/video/?l=492
Shorinryu Sensei Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I've never heard of Iasonrue...what is the system based on? I have a slow dialup connection so I don't download videos...takes to long. My nightly prayer..."Please, just let me win that PowerBall Jackpot just once. I'll prove to you that it won't change me!"
Jay Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 i think its a karate based style some moves where similar to jion The key to everything is continuity achieved by discipline.
DKizzle Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 It looks very similar to Kenpo, only the guy's form is really not very good. He doesn't sink into any of his stances hardly at all.
Vince Posted November 23, 2005 Author Posted November 23, 2005 Sorry i spelled it wrong its Isshinryu. the site is flash based for the video clips so there is no down loads and the play time is quite quick even with a slow dialup.
b3n Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Youv'e never heard of Isshinryu? My Nidan Grading! Pacificshore Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 As I suspected, it was Isshin-ryu and the katas were Chinto and Kusanku, or a variant of them. Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia
liquidkudzu Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 http://kickteam.org/videos/videos.htm That link has 30 free vids for download.http://www.chloebruce.co.uk/videos.php That one has 5 cool ones (get the show reel and Cylob video for sure)lk
jay46 Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 As I suspected, it was Isshin-ryu and the katas were Chinto and Kusanku, or a variant of them. And some of the other clips had Nahanchi, Wansu, Seisan and possibly Tokumine. These kata are very different, in detail, from what I know. My 9 year old recognized Wansu after a few moves.
