Aodhan Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 There are no death touches, rather there are strikes to specific points(areas), as many boxers, accidental slayings, football players, ballet students, lawyers, doctors, and even Martial Artists have been known to come across either intentionally or by freak accident. Most of those are due to interruption of the heart rhythm. There is a certain point in the electrical discharge/recharge cycle of the heart where the heart is vulnerable, and a direct impact to the chest at that point MAY cause a fatal arrhythmia (Although it is treatable if gotten to quick enough with a defibrillator). It causes death in a few baseball players each year. It's somewhat rare, but it does happen.Aodhan There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player
Aodhan Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Well i heard it from my teacher who also does karate and he said that there is this one move that you can do to make someone pee to death!? he said its called like urine techique.. i think it was a korean move but im not sure.. i would like to know more about this cause man that is one crazy techique!!I think your instructor is having you on. The kidneys don't process enough urine for you to lose enough water volume fast enough to kill you.Aodhan There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player
shogeri Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Though I posted valid information regarding acupressure I tend to agree with the above post just as well. Aodhan Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Though I posted valid information regarding acupressure I tend to agree with the above post just as well. From what I know of accupressure and point strikes, there are strikes that can cause serious disruption of body functions. Is that a valid statement? I've always been interested in accupressure/puncture, but I don't know how to go about finding a reputable practitioner of it.And I reread your post, and you can do some serious damage with strikes to the pelvis/lower abdomen, I just disagreed with the "pee yourself to death" part of it. :DAodhan There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player
shogeri Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 "there are strikes that can cause serious disruption of body functions"You are correct. Many cultures, besides China have been figuring these things out. They just haven't got the market on it like TCM does.Type in acupuncture or acupressure schools or teacher in the google bar.Or go to http://www.naturalhealers.com for more info. ProjectJanus Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I actually found a pressure point that is in direct contact with the heart by accident. There will always be the Jackie Chans and Jet Li's who will come along and dazzle us with their screen antics. But Bruce Lee was a seeker of knowledge, a true master of the fighting arts and philosophy.
scottnshelly Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I’ve heard a Kung Fu Sifu make reference to a pressure point somewhere in the crotch area that may make one lose control of the bladder, but I’d tend to agree with the others that death is a bit extreme.I thought I saw an article the other day on a news site that I read that said scientists made a mosquito urinate to death, but now I can’t seem to find that article. Google brought me to this site.
shogeri Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Conventional medical science has, and will continue to valid the pressure points on the body. Perhaps they will figure it out someday.Until then we have TCM Theory.Again, I have yet to confirm this particular strike either, and I actually study this stuff. One might be able to mess up the functions of a particular organ, but I am not sure on this particular accupoint.I will ask one of the top people in this field.
