why is there no karate magazine out there?

Thanks Brandon, I am always trying to find a mag. with more traditional aspects of MA. I have been greatly dissappointed with Black Belt magazine. Too much emphasis on MMA. Unfortunately, I have not seen the magazine in this area that you have mentioned.

I agree on Black Belt. MMA is the biggest and latest craze so its hot news. If you are referring to Classical Fighting Arts the website is https://www.dragon-tsunami.org if not and you are speaking of Journal of Asian Martial arts let me know and I will dig up their site.

I have a subscription to Black Belt and Classical Fighting Arts..CFA is definitely a much better publication but is only published quarterly . I once complained to Harry Cook(one of the staff) about this wishing it was monthly but he brought up a good point that the quality wouldn't be as good if this was done...hmm...

Bad Quality in a monthly martial art magazine? Shocking, Black Belt is monthly and I often find myself not liking at least 70% of it.
