koala_style Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 capoeira isn't all about flying through the air. you can be a good capoerista without performing the acrobatic flourishes. you don't have to be ripped to train, but good training will definitely increase your strength and flexibility. strength in capoeira is really relative to your body - you often will be using your arms to support some/all of your weight....
