What was your best weeks training ?.

I have just graded 64 of my students this week. Watching them perform and work made me feel very forfilled and satisfied. It was so rewarding to see the fruits of my teaching and coaching , and has motivated me to work even harder for them. It was far better than any competition that I have won.

My most difficult week of training was at a Gasshuku in Japan when I studied in Japan for a year in 1982.

We did 42 hours of incredibly hard training in one week.

I wasnt as strong and fit then as I am now, but it burned a deep memory with me ie pain!!

My best weeks trainin would have to be this week's, which Im finishing off tonight with a TKD lesson. I've trained Mon, Tue, Wed, and today for hours in a huge field in the sun. Very tough but very rewarding

Mine took place in the Summer of 1996.

I was working out to get ready for my Fr. year of college Football. I had just made my black belt that Spring.

I was lifting 4 days a week. I would run distance 3 times a week. Sprints 2 times a week. I would do 3 M,W,F 2 hr classes at night. I would also do 2 1Hr classes of the mourning on T and TR one kata and one sparring.

I know how you feel Jakmak53. I had knee surgery last Feb. Infact my 5th knee op. Lost both cartlidges and ligament damage. I was told to pack up all sports. I have however changed the way that I train and am still going. I don"t compete any more but I am enjoying my training once again.

My hardest week of Training was Hell Week for football in 1998, our coach expected us to win all of our games that year. He was a real imbosel! No one liked him. All he wanted to do was yell and win. That is why I do karate now 24-7 than football 24-7. Not putting down anyone that likes football. I still love football though, just to make that clear. THE BEARS SUCK BUT YA GOTTA LOVE 'EM! IMHO.
