kheb3350 Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Some of the posters here recommended the Satori gi's a while back. Well I went for the plunge and mine arrived yesterday. Spent the afternoon washing and drying it. Just ironed it and tried it on.First impressions are very good. I have a Kamikaze America which I also like but the fit is SO much better because it is custom. Plus the material is very different/interesting and the stiching is better quality. Attention to the small details (such as the label and easy to tie drawstring) is good. So I am very happy so far and am off to the dojo in a hour to try it out.
Pacificshore Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Cool, I've had mine for several years now, and it is still in excellent condition. I think you will enjoy the added room in the armpit area which is designed for full range of motion without the bottom of your jacket coming out over your belt Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia

On a more serious note, I have not heard of this brand, how much was it and was it worth the money? place clever martial arts phrase here

At the time it cost me $130US. Hope this helps P.S.In my mind it was worth the $$ Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia
kheb3350 Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 On a more serious note, I have not heard of this brand, how much was it and was it worth the money? To be honest I can't remember the exact price. I seem to remember around UK£80. This makes it around US$150. I paid international postage and customs on top of that (in UK). So overall it was expensive. Was it worth the money? Yes I think so without the customs and excise. I intend to order another one within the next week or so. However, I will get it sent to a relation in Chicago. Then pick it up from there when I travel there in March.

knarfster Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Their website is http://www.satori-gi.com/ and I think it is $140 or $150 for a custom Gi they make a 15 oz which may be more.
