So I picked up a book this weekend and turns out it has all this martial arts stuff in it...It's called the Traveler by John Twelve Hawks and is kind of Matrix-y, scifi stuff. Pretty cool... They mention Capoeria, Karate, and Kickboxing. Pretty good read in my opinion. Anyone else read it?

I've read it. It's a pretty good book, although the genre is a bit worn out (secret societies, hidden wars that control the fate of the world, etc.). It has an almost cyberpunk sort of feel to it to me, although it isn't a "hacker" type of story at all. It reminds me a little bit of William Gibson, and even more of Neal Stephenson.

It is a FAST read though. I think I finished it in a couple of sittings. I'll read the next in the series I think. It think this is the first book from this author. If so, wow what a start!

I would have liked it better if it had some judo or ju-jitsu.

Yeah I thought it was pretty cool myself. Definitely full of conspiracy theories ...makes sense when I read it was edited by the same guy who did DaVinci Code. And you're right Du Hast...it's a trilogy! I think it's gonna be great and definitely recommend.
