I believe it has to do with eating Korean food (or at least garlic) before promotion testing. Being a good fighter is One thing. Being a good person is Everything. My Uncle has been studying Martial arts for a long time. Hapkido, Aikido... and some others for a while. When I was about 10, I asked him to show me some cool moves. He got up, walked towards me and said, I'll show you "Barking Spider". He lifted his left as if to kick me, and farted. "You now know Barking Spider" He laughed and walked away.
