Caz
One thing I really learned in fencing is treating your sword/blade as a part of yourself. Once you get used to the weapon, your movements become natural. You no longer feel uneasy with your stance. The first time I ever held a fencing blade,I felt really uneasy, but once you get used to it, you become more relaxed, your reactions faster and you have better point control.Indeed, after 4 years, the foil is an extension of my arm. I no longer have to estimate where the tips is, or where the blade is going to be. It all comes to me as if it was my arm. Point: Most weapons will be an extension of your mind if you just train with them enough.
