Best martial Arts movie ever

Recommended Posts

Shaolin Soccer (but not kung fu hustle.. it was lame)

I've heard that was a good movie.

HUH? I thought it was a good movie. Probably one of the better paradies that I have seen.

i assume you're talking about kung fu hustle.. i don't know, it was ok.. but it was too much.. a chinese version of kung pow..

Now there I agree with you. Kung Pow was just plain ol' stupid! I walked out of that movie theater.

Did you really? My TKD instructor does that all the time.

-Adam

Walk out of the theater? Yup. If it looks stupid, I'm out. I would rather go home and read a nice book, surf the net, or watch some TV, then sit through something that I'm just going to say "Wow... that stunk!"

I don't have to be the best, just better than you!

my favorites:

Enter the Dragon

Best of the Best

The Last Dragon (corny, I know)

Hard Target (filling a guy full of holes, and following with a jump spin hook kick? Who doesn't love that?)

The Quest (the Caporiera guy is awesome.)

If you haven't seen History of Violence yet, then you need to check it out too. Nothing flashy, but it would work.

Try the film "Throw Down". The plot centers around an ex-Judo champ who has lost his way in life and is redeemed by two strangers who help him regain his love for his sport.

Billed as a stylistic homage to Kirasawa. Terrible title for a pretty decent movie.

"VisionQuest".

I saw it when I was a senior in high school and it really struck a chord with me with regards to coming-of-age. Not an Oscar winner, but I still enjoy it today.

1. Cradle 2 the Grave (Jet Li fighting all those UFC fighters at once wasn't realistic, but still awesome)

2. The Chinese Connection (Classic)

3. The Karate Kid (Inspirational)
