mean fighter Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 What is your favorite martial arts movie you have ever seen that you can easily relate to?Or has even inspired you to get into martial arts. Mine is the karate kid part1 If you wash your hands in anger, you never have clean hands
orion82698 Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 I would honestly say that none of these inspired me to be anything more than a movie martial artist. When I first got into MA, I thought that what you saw on TV, was effective. I have learned a lot since then Ong-BakKiss of the Dragon (Anything Jet Li I love!!!!!! )Bloodsport (Don't hate, you know you liked it at one point in time ) I don't have to be the best, just better than you!Working towards 11% BF and a Six pack
mean fighter Posted October 21, 2005 Author Posted October 21, 2005 Bloodsport was an interesting genre, another was kill Bill by the way I only saw V.1 tell me what happens in two. If you wash your hands in anger, you never have clean hands
orion82698 Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Didn't like two. 1 was awesome! I don't have to be the best, just better than you!Working towards 11% BF and a Six pack
Du Hast Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I thought UFC 1, 2, and 3 were pretty good. I also like the fights in They Live as well (no, I'm not entirely kidding!)
mean fighter Posted October 21, 2005 Author Posted October 21, 2005 Jet LI is a great martial artist but my personal opinion he is just trying to be like Bruce Lee. If you wash your hands in anger, you never have clean hands
tufrthanu Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Bloodsport, Karate Kid, Kill Bill Vol. 1 I agree about Vol. 2. Long Live the Fighters!

Ottman Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Steven Segal. It's a new one, March 2005 I think and it's a scorcher. I highly recomend it. Segal actually wrote this one and I'm very impressed at his screenwriting skills. I took a screenwriting class this summer, and it's a lot harder than it sounds.
