Hey guys! I have been teaching for around 2 months now (started Aug 2nd) and now this Friday (Oct 21) I have my first set of white belts testing for yellow belt...there are 10 of them! I'm so proud of them...it's a great feeling..my first white belts ever are testing...I'm excited right now! :)

Congratulations! Remember how this feels. The feeling will diminish over the years, but I hope you never get over the excitement of teaching your art! :D :karate:

Congratulations...I've been teaching for about 4 years...just promoted my first two students to black belt last weekend...

That is a great feeling....

So keep it up, and your efforts will definitely be rewarded.

Congratulations!! I just got my instructor certification, so I should have a new crop of white belts ripe enough to promote in about 2-3 months... :D

congrats. It wasnt that long ago my first group tested. I think i posted about it too. I know how you feel; its really great.

Funny....I get that feeling every time one of my promising students test. I hate to say it but I think I've come to play favorites. Sure I give all my students regardless of their ability or passion 100% of myself in the dojo, but those that really want it get that extra 150%. And when they succeed it's the best feeling.
