Hi guys,

I am a newbie here so you'll have to help me out. I count on and respect the information many masters like you have to offer.

I checked my state laws and it is legal to carry nunchaku. And to conceal them, but ONLY for self-defense I beleive. What I am wondering is: Is there a "proper" or "traditional" way to conceal the nunchaku effectively beneath clothing? If so, how?

Thank you for your time and your help.

Huge pants, deep pockets. Thats how I used to do it, but now I just carry an asp, if anything. Usually nothing.

Traditional weapons of this type were carried in the belt. At the back. Carrying a concealed weapon though today, not such a good idea.

Yeah you would carry it on your belt but wouldn't it get a little bulky and irritating if you always had a pair of nunchakus withyou?

If you are really serious in the Jeff Speakman Movie "Perfect Weapon" as he is preparing to go after the bad guy hi straps on a carrier on his back to carry escrima sticks. Just a thought.

Have you looked at the telescopic nunchaku. They are a lot heavier then conventional chux but compact, and well i wouldn't wanna be hit by any.

I have a bag which straps around my shoulder and hangs by my side, if need be; i carry my nunchucks in there..It's easy to pull out quickly and conviently, and it's not uncomfortable to carry around.

Hey I think I have seen bags of that type. Not at all like a handbag. They go over the shoulder and have a second strap that goes around the mid section. They have a flat profile and work well for those engaged in a physical activity such as bike riding etc. It looks like after getting used to them it would feel much like wearing a vest.

Another thought with some of the new restrictions on backbacks in some public venues they might be an acceptable alternative.

Great idea Jiggy.
