IcemanSK
I posted a thread on the "politics" section about my situation of a bogus rank.I began training in Chung Do Kwon (before "Olympic style TKD") & really like that (what I refer to as "old school" style).Does anyone know of any Chung Do Kwon or Ji Do Kwon schools in suburban LA? (Particularly the "Valley")Thanks Being a good fighter is One thing. Being a good person is Everything. Kevin "Superkick" McClinton
Belasko
Not sure about the LA suburbs, but in San Diego (I think) there is one. The instructor is Rod Preble. You might look into his school to make sure It's not in the area you're looking for. He is part of the Chung Do Kwan Alliance. Getting a blackbelt just says you have learned the basics and are ready to actually study the form as an art.
theadric
Belasko, do you practice in Pocatello under Master Leblanc? (While looking at different MA schools in town I did consider CDK) -TheadricWhite Belt
Steve_K
I don't have an answer to your question. But I thought I would add that I study Chung Do Kwan, and I am very pleased with it, compared to some of the other styles, basically the olympic styles. Good choice, I must say, no offense to the olympic styles.
Belasko
Belasko, do you practice in Pocatello under Master Leblanc? (While looking at different MA schools in town I did consider CDK)I do study under him still but unfortunately I graduated and don't live in Pocatello any more. Instead I'm helping to teach the I.F. section of the class now w/ Jen, another one of his students.
