That's interesting, can you say what makes Mr. Alexanders translation better in your opinion. I've never read Pat McCarthy's version but I did brief through George Alexanders a long time ago.

I'd be interested in hearing your comparison.

McCarthy's stuff seems more interpreted and less translated.

Secrits of championship karate - Karyn Turner

Chinese Gung-Fu - Bruce Lee

Tao of jeet kune do - Bruce Lee

Selling water by the river - Jiyu Kennet

Zen buddhism - D. T. Suzuki

A book of hidden leaves - ?

Bibishi - ?

Muay Thai, Concepts - Delp

Tripitaka - Siddhartha Gautama

Tao ti ching - Lao Tzu

cannon of judo - Jigoro Kano

47 Ronin - ?

The sweet science - ?

The Wudan mountain manual (jk)

anything by krishnamurti (really good stuff)

over all these books have had the most positive effect on my training i will go rent some of the previousely mentioned books too.
