judoguy
What is the best way to manuver a person into this position? Has anyone here ever obtained during a grappling or MMA match? I'm only going to ask you once...
supergalactic
From side control, and yeah that move isn't that uncommon, more so in grappling tournaments Josh Koscheck the human blanket
SubGrappler
Yeah side control is probably the most common way to catch the position. You'll see it more in grappling tournaments, mostly gi. To maintain the position in no gi and MMA is rather difficult because of the lack of grips.
TJS
either from side control or sometimes If i have someone mounted I will push up and take my shin across them to move to that position.
Maddwraph
when fighting with gi, after i brake the guard, i grab the the pants from the inside, move them to one side and move to knee on belly position. ive made someone tap out with that already, nice move. Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Really enjoying martial arts.
