Everytime he tells you something... Of course it does Renshi OSU!!! "There is a time in every mans education when he arrives at the conviction that envy is ignorance; that imitation is suicide; that he must take himself for better, for worse,... scotto
Shihan dosn't really have too many 1 liners, the only thing that came to mind was that he qiute often asks the class "What do we call those people" usually refering to outragiously flexible people, to which he gets the reply "Freaks, shihan".OT slightly, Back in High School, I had a teacher that would always walk into the class 10 minutes late and say "Alright Folks, Fiddlies down". Never worked out what a fiddly was.
Sleepy_r0b
My all time fave is "rest when your dead" To which our usual reply is "we soon will be if you keep working us like this"So he gives us more pushups for being cheeky.its a vicious circle. marie curie
My Instructor totally says "M'Kay" like mr. macky in southpark a bunch, and whenever someone askes a question, he usually starts off with "yes and no...." and then goes into this big monolouge You suck-train harder.......................Don't block with your faceA good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving. -Lao Tzu
Sohan
I am always wary of, "Let me use you for a moment to demonstrate" Respectfully,Sohan "If I cannot become one of extraordinary accomplishment, I will not walk the earth." ebff
"aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr [think lion breathing out for 10s], see you next week!" (said in heavy Chinese accent)Never ever missed saying that. Me and brother ended up using the arrrrr as a way to crack ourselves up when we were bored in trains etc.
armanox
Mine has a few....Whenever someone mentions something from a movie(or just the little ones for "someone")"Ahh, the movies...".For when someone's punching or blocking too high "If the jolly green giant attacks you you've better off running"For when people reach to in a block "If you have to reach to block it then it doesn't need to be blocked."He also refers to the friend I go with and myself as the two turkeys, and occasionally me as the raging maniac. daizyblackbelt
my sensei is very fond of:"Go practice until you faint, die, or puke." (for those students who like to ask "how many times do we have to DO this?!")"The bunkai is JUST like the kata, except when it's not.""If you don't know the next move, just down block."
